Econonomic woes, war, and the average joe

I often find myself imagining the worst possibilities in life, and I always try to plan for them, in an inconspicuous way. I served in the military from 1999 to 2004, and I'm positive that this experience has only worsened my "condition". I have also read the "Left Behind" series, and for those of you that don't know, it is a series of post-apocalyptic fiction novels, set in present day, which very adequately depicts and articulates the second coming of Jesus Christ and events surrounding it. At this point I want you to stop reading this and think about what I'm about to mention here. I should probably have started this way, however, I didn't and I'm entitled to do so, as this is MY blog. That said here it is. This is what I want you to understand before you continue.

There is no, and will be no, rhyme or reason to what I add in this medium, and I don't follow a timeline or template. My thoughts are my thoughts, and this isn't a forum for communication, it's for thought collection, review, interpretation, and if anyone ever reads, sharing.

Okay, so I'll continue. I'm a worst case scenario thinker. Is this a condition, or symptom? For the record, I'm the average joe. Just a picture into my life as a.j....I'm sitting on my wife's laptop at the kitchen table and its 7:12 a.m. and I'm waiting for my minivan to warm up before I leave for work on Tuesday morning. I have two children, a boy and a girl, both five years old. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary two days ago and she is a Nursing student and I repair sterilization equipment in hospitals on the South side of the city.

My van is probably warm now, an excellent excuse for me to sever this. The truth is that I've just experienced a complete lack of anything to add. Writer's block? Can I actually place a question mark after those two words? It's not actually a question but most people, English speaking, would understand my meaning...time to go to work.
